ABOUT LEAP

From Test English to Real-World Communication

English can help you enter a university, start a career or move somewhere new. At LEAP, we help you develop the communication skills to take part once you get there.

Where we started

LEAP grew out of our work with international students and early-career professionals. In classrooms and coaching sessions, we kept seeing the same gap: learners could meet an English requirement and still find it difficult to join a discussion, explain an idea or communicate under pressure. Based in Australia, we bring together experience in university pathways, test preparation and professional communication to help learners through those transitions.

What we believe

A test score matters. So does what you can do with your English afterwards. Our teaching connects preparation with participation: understanding a question, organising your thinking, expressing your ideas and responding to the people around you. We work towards your immediate goal while developing skills you can keep using in study, work and life.

How that shapes our teaching

01

Start with your context

Your goals, experience and next step guide the work we do together. Practice should feel relevant to the situations you are preparing for.

02

Make feedback usable

Understand what is working, what needs attention and how to improve it. Then practise again with a clear focus.

03

Build lasting capability

Develop the judgement and confidence to use English independently, across unfamiliar questions, conversations and professional situations.
